August 2012

August 2012 was a great month! Davis started Advanced PreK at The Rock Preschool and we started some home renovations projects (you can see the 'after' photos in October 2012).

On August 9th Davis had Back to School night. We met his teacher, Mrs. Sarah, and all the other friends Davis was going to have in his class. The classroom name is the Lions and Melanie and I are the classroom moms. Here are a few photos from that night:

Davis' first day of Advanced Pre K was August 15th. He goes to school Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 - 12:30 and eats lunch at school. His best buddies are Caleb, Miles, Caden, Drew and Carson. We continued our tradition of baking (I should say, eating) chocolate chip cookies with grandma on our first day of school.
