Helen Keller once said that life is either a great adventure or nothing. We agree so here are OUR great adventures...

Making a Memory
Have you every seen the original movie The Parent Trap? I love the movie - it's one (of many) that Sara and I grew up watching. There is a scene in the movie where one of the twin girls sees her grandpa for the first time. When she sees him she gives him a long drawn-out hug and stops to smell the tobacco on his jacket. He asks her what she is doing....to which she replies...."making a memory". I LOVE that scene and it often reminds me to make memories of my own. I did it a few weeks ago and decided to take a photo of it...to really capture it. To you it's a photo of Davis eating a snack of cheese and crackers. To me it's my toddler (who was JUST my BABY) turning into a little boy right before my eyes. He's sitting at the table without a booster or a bib. It's my reminder that it all goes too fast. Maybe if I stop to make a memory I can slow time down a bit...if nothing else then just for a few seconds.
