Day 1:
On Saturday we took Davis to the Colorado Railroad Museum where he saw a dozen different types of trains (cho-cho's). He loved running around and looking inside. But, per usual, after about 45 minutes all he wanted to do was play in the rocks. After the museum we went to the Golden Farmer's Market and watched the parachuters fly off the "M" mountain. After that we went to our favorite pizza place - Woody's - and drove around the town a little reminiscing about Eric going to school at Mines. Once we got home we all took naps and that night we went to Park Meadows mall for shopping and dinner at Chick-Fil-A!

Day 2:
On Sunday we had a nice leisurely morning and went to A Taste of Colorado for lunch. YUM! Eric and I ate BBQ and Greek food (respectively) and Davis had his favorite - corn on the cob. We also got him Honey Baked Ham - but why would he eat that when he can eat an entire ear of corn? After a few hours of good food and live music we headed home, and, of course, napped! That afternoon we watched the CSU vs. CU game (CSU won) and we had a nice relaxing evening at home.

Day 3:
On Monday Davis and I ran errands in the morning (grocery store and Target) then we all met Mimi, Papa and Aunt Jo at the park for a picnic lunch and playtime. Bison Park in the Meadows in Castle Rock is AWESOME! We played on the slides, swings and in the sandbox, but Davis had the most fun playing baseball and tennis. We all had a great time but knew it was time to go home (for naps, of course) when Davis started his "melting down" at 12:00. Poor things was so tired he fell asleep on the way home. I am writing this now at 1:43 pm on Monday - for the rest of the day - nothing but R&R is planned. Okay, and maybe a trip to Dairy Queen.
