The Good Stuff: Day Trip to Steamboat

Last Thursday Eric had a meeting in Steamboat Springs - so Davis and I went along for the ride! It was a 3 1/2 hour drive up, and the same back. While I was worried that Davis would be going stir-crazy 20 minutes into the drive, he didn't! We packed enough food and toys to entertain an entire class of 1 year old's - so it didn't go smoothly due to lack of planning.

We dropped Eric off at his meeting at 10:30 then Davis and I went to "Little Toots Park" to burn off all his pent-up energy. After that we stopped at a few boutiques downtown, picked Eric up after his meeting, then went to lunch at a local favorite called Freshies. And, just as soon as soon lunch was over we left for home. Eric definitely drew the short stick that day - both Davis and I slept then entire way home!

Oh, and it was a total bonus that the Aspen's were starting to turn yellow!
