I have been collecting stories on the notepad in my phone that I wanted to document in the blog. There is no real rhyme or reason for the stories, and no particular order. I just wanted to make sure I remembered them.
Ms. Sarah (Davis' A PreK teacher at The Rock) is always telling me wonderful stories about Davis at school. A few weeks ago she told me that Davis was telling her a story about how he couldn't wait to be finished with school because then he could go to work so he could get 'time off'. Bless his little heart. He has no idea how great he has it being in school.
One morning when Davis finished brushing his teeth he yelled, "DAD! I brushed my teeth in three different languages!" Say what!?
As we were getting ready to leave the house one Saturday morning Davis said to Eric and I, "Hey guys, do you know whose my favorite friend? My shadow!". Eric and I laughed. The he said, "For real guys!".
Davis and I were looking at a photo of Eric one day and Davis said, "Boy, daddy is cute. And he pays for everything!"
One night when Davis was saying the prayer before dinner, one line of the prayer was straight out of the prayer scene in Talladega Nights. He said "make sure we adopt a baby good."
The TV was on one morning and an infomercial came on about an 'ouchless' hairbrush, as I was brushing my tangled hair. Davis said, "Mom, you should get that brush on TV, then it won't happen to you."
