We spent the next three days riding rides and meeting characters at Disneyland and California Adventure. Owen and Travis (Owen's dad) has never been to Disneyland to I was excited to be able to show them how "I do Disney”. The vacation was just as much fun for the adults as it was the kids. Seriously. I think Eric, Jackie, Travis and I have much more of a vacation hangover than Davis and Owen.
Two of the newest rides (which I have never been on) were also two of our favorites...Goofy's Flight School (a rollercoaster) and Toy Story Mania (a 3D interactive game). If the wait for Toy Story Mania hadn't been 45 minutes every time we walked by we would have ridden it 20 times. Another favorite was Splash Mountain. Davis' top three rides were: Goofy's Flight School, Splash Mountain and Micky’s gadget Coaster. Eric's top three were Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Toy Story Mania. My top three were Peter Pan, Toy Story Mania and Space Mountain. This was the first time we saw Mickey's Soundsational Parade and it was amazing. The best part was the last float of the parade….Mary Poppins! We were too tired to stay for the Dreams Come True fireworks but had a great view of them from our hotel.
The entire vacation was so much fun and we loved traveling and sharing memories with The Heersink family. We hope this is just one of many vacations with them.
Next Disney vacation? Disneyworld. I hope.
