On Easter Eve (not sure if there is such a thing) I had grand ideas of what our Easter egg coloring activity would be like. Then I remembered that Davis is 2. And, the idea of my 2 year old being responsible for permanent egg color in my kitchen put an end to my grandiose ideas. The new plan: I colored the eggs and he decorated them with sports sticker. Perfect!
Easter morning started bring and early (like all mornings in the May house) with a treasure hunt and and an Easter egg hunt. After our leisurely morning at home (with our traditional breakfast of Ebelskiver pancakes) we went to Mimi and Pa-Pow's house (Eric's parents) - where the Easter Bunny had also paid a visit. Boy, the Easter Bunny must have heard that he's been a very good boy over the last year. Wait, can we use that with the Easter Bunny? Or is that just Santa?

Davis' Easter basket filled with two necessities: Peeps and Cars
The treasure hunt took him to "where he finds his brown shoes". The treasure? More Cars!
The biggest treasure of them all - a baseball helmet. Awesome!

The best treasure? Max's Chocolate Chicken (it's a book).
