Happy Halloween 2009

The moment of truth arrives. All month we've been talking to Davis about pumpkins, Halloween, cats, ghosts and trick-or-treating. As the festivities neared I was wondering if all our Halloween preparations would really prepare him for THE night, or if in the end he would just be frightened by it all (seeing it on the shelves at Target I feared was much different than seeing it in the dark at a neighbor's house). To our great surprise (and by "our" I mean Aunt See-Sue and the grandparents. Eric is in Indio, CA enjoying Phish's 3 day festival) he LOVED it! Below are a few photo of some pre-Halloween activities and Halloween night!

When Halloween night arrived we had dinner then got Davis dressed in his space suit (he was an astronaut because of his obsession with the moon and stars). We took hundreds of photos and made sure he had his Mickey Mouse pumpkin to collect all the candy. The weather was perfect..a little chilly but not snowing and not too cold.
