This deserves a post of it's own. On October 5th and 6th we attended New Hope's training which is required for all adoptive families. The training covered everything from international adoption, domestic infant adoption, legal rights, open adoptions and detachment disorder to infant care. It was an amazing training and the highlight was the panel of birth mothers who gave their baby up for adoption. There was not a dry eye in the class.
