For Father's Day Davis said that he wanted to make the star cookies that they made as a craft on Sprouts (channel 119, PBS, but on cable). So...that's what we did!
Didn't he do a great job decorating them?
Before surprising daddy with the cookies.
After.
After, again. So cute!
The Saturday before Father's Day we went out to breakfast with Ron, mom, Sara, Ben, Chris, Char, Steph and Britt at a Mexican restaurant in Parker - yum!
Davis playing with a daddy long-leg after breakfast.
Diggy and daddy BEFORE he had to change his clothes. I won't give all the details but it involved creamer, his texture 'challenge' and a HUGE mess that only a mom would clean up. Blah!
Now I'm thinking...why didn't I take photos of the family? And, that reminds me, I need to get photos from Jeannie for our breakfast out with Pa-pow!
Oh, and before I forget. Did I tell you that we ordered caterpillars from Insect Lore? They send you caterpillars, food and a habitat. You take care of them and they turn into butterflies. It is totally amazing to see the transformation! I know Davis has seen that commercial WAY too many times when instead of referring to them as 'butterflies' her says 'they are natural, real live butterflies'. My son is an infomercial parrot. Here are a few photos of him releasing them into the world.
And here is a photo from the BBQ at Lala's this past weekend. Brady is on the left, Delaney in the middle, then Davis. They are all getting so big!
Okay, couldn't resist posting this one of Davis and Brady acting like Curious George in the tree.
