Family Fun in May (2011)

May was a busy month full of family activities and cool (and wet) weather. The weather was so cold on May 24th that when we drove over Monument Pass (on our way to the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo) we drove through rain, hail and snow!

Memorial Day weekend was a busy weekend for us. We celebrated my grandma's 78th birthday and hosted our annual "Salt Lick BBQ". That's right...we ordered Salt Lick from Austin and hosted a party for it...anyone who has been to Salt Lick knows what I'm talkin' about.
