Easter 2011

This year we had many Easter festivities. The first of many was visiting the Easter Bunny at Park Meadows with grandma. After the Santa meltdown last December I wasn't sure what to expect. It went better than I planned....probably because he was determined to tell the Easter Bunny that he wanted a Toy Story Slip-n-Slide.

The weekend before Easter our church (Plum Creek) had their annual Easter egg drop (from a HELICOPTER). I think the adults loved it just as much as the kids!


Coloring Easter Eggs Friday night before Easter...


Easter morning Davis went downstairs to find his Easter basket and hidden eggs. In the basket was a note from the Easter Bunny telling him about the scavenger hunt he would be going on to find all of his Easter presents. I just realized that I didn't take any photos of the scavenger hunt because I was video recording it all...so here are a few photos from that morning.

After our morning together we went to church then to grandma and grandpa's house for lunch, Easter baskets and lots of Easter egg hunts. Davis loved the egg hunts so much we hid them for him over, and over, and over, and over (you get the idea) again.


We capped off the day off at Mimi and Pa-Pows house for some hugs a quick scavenger hunt!
