I think everyone knows the story. If you don't, here is a quick summary:
Margaret doesn't want a baby born in the winter (hers is December 29th). Margaret finds out she is due in the middle of winter - January 2008. Margaret instantly plans for Davis to have summer 1/2 birthday celebrations. Margaret is ecstatic when she realizes that Davis' 1/2 birthday is the 4th of July! Fireworks every year on his 1/2 birthday? AWESOME!

Wait. As I'm looking through photos I realize that I was hosting, and cooking, and hosting some more, so I don't have many photos of the actual party...just cake and fireworks.
The coolest hat ever made! Aunt See-Sue made this for his 1/2 birthday since he loves bugs. Oh, and he had a monkey cake, too.

The one thing I wish we had was a photo of us with Doug and Linda Carey. The drove allthe way down from Greeley to celebrate with us. We consider them family and love them very much!
